Heart for the Arts
This year at Knott County Central High School we were not able to offer an art program to students. This grant would give students the opportunity to publish different forms of artistic categories. We will begin by forming a student editorial board to develop the vision for the publication. Then we will begin the blog/website for the promotion of the students’ works globally. Then near the beginning of the spring semester, we will begin work on a print anthology that will be a collection of the best works: art, photography, poems, short stories, comics, etc. The anthology will be an entrepreneurial project for the students on the student editorial board and an opportunity for students to display their work throughout the community.
