I think this learning innovation grant will be instrumental to me being able to continue to create more content that my students can access on their own devices. During my hybrid teaching this year, I have witnessed the change of engagement when students can see up close what I am pointing to and writing about on their own device screens. It also will open the doors for collaboration up much wider for my class. Having the right tools to continue to build content for my project-based units will allow my students to grow much more in my classroom and will also allow me more time to work more intensively with students that need extra help. This grant will further allow me to support those struggling students as I can easily create broken down, study videos that they can watch again when needed to support their remediation. The opportunity to improve my teaching skills and further grow my toolbox of strategies will help my classroom for years to come.
