Swivl into Success

October 2016 Presentation:

Project Summary: Students will access pre-recorded lessons their teachers have prepared using the Swivl. Students will have the opportunity to utilize the recorded lessons for a variety of purposes; initial viewing of the content delivery for those who were absent, re-teaching for those who need to revisit content delivery because of confusion and/or a lack of understanding, and for students who want to review instruction to prepare for assessments. By having the ability to pre-record lessons, we will be able to move toward a flipped classroom that will allow students to work at their own pace and allow us to become facilitators of student learning. Additionally, it will also help us improve individual learning because we will be free to work one-on-one with students who need individualized instruction. Another great feature is that we can be present in the classroom even when we aren’t physically at school! This is a collaborative project with Jessica Mullins.
