Visual Learning is a teaching method that can reach students both in and out of the classroom. Many teachers are successful in making their classrooms visually appealing but we must also reach our students in the hallways and common areas. The goal of my grant is to make the areas outside of our classrooms visually appealing to our students while also helping reinforce learning. We will be decorating the stairways with Spanish numbers, important moments in History, and quotes from famous authors. We have some walls that are completely blank and one wall would be full of math formulas. We will also be adding stall notes called “Tiger Tales” monthly in order to keep students informed of what is going on in our school.
