Gallopalooza 3

Identifying new resources to apply art skills increasingly proves difficult, and through this grant our students will get hands on skills and real world applications of designing and painting the “Gallapalooza” horse for the Agriculture Program. Identifying new resources and means through Agriculture Education to improve student learning in math, science concepts, practical living, art, history, real world applications, and project based learning. Students will be able to apply life lessons, planning and organizational concepts, landscaping design principles, and develop a basis for sustainable Agriculture. Our problem is to design a landscaping theme around the Gallopallooza horse, which will be creatively painted by our Art Dept. The horse will be a creative and Agricultural representation, located within the school campus. All across curriculum areas will have opportunity to work and contribute to this project, creating a unified theme and purpose. This grant application will cover finished expense of the model horse, and the paint/supplies needed to produce the final Agricultural representation of the Gallopalozza. Applying real world design to an artifact that will beautify our campus, will give our students pride and investment into their school.
