Size It Up Right

To increase students’ understanding of similarity, they will create scale models of some of the world’s tallest buildings. They will research the architecture of the building, and the location and impact of the building on the community. Once the buildings are completed, students will use a lamp to simulate shadows, find angles of elevation and depression and “prove” some basic trig functions.
