Advanced Skills for Community Employment for Students with Moderate and Severe Disabilities
We will set up a school store (slushie, popcorn, and cappuccino) using a retail point of sale cash register with scanner. Additional items will be purchased in order for the students to have opportunities to develop real life sales and cash register skills. The students will be involved in all aspects of the store including marketing, budgeting, financing, preparation, cleaning and sales. They will rotate through all tasks involved to develop a variety of workplace skills.
