Impacting Student Learning Using 21st Century Skills
The students in my high school classroom function on various levels in reading and math. We have been utilizing the Easy CBM program due to the different grade levels the student’s function. At the present time, the students are paired with a peer reader. The students are given a paper copy of a story on their grade level to read and they answer the questions using paper and pencil. They are also given the problems for math and have to work the problems on their own paper. With the use of chrome books, the students will utilize them by getting on the Easy CBM program and reading the story and answering the questions on the chrome book. This is also true for solving math problems. This automatically gives the student immediate feedback to the test.
