Biography

The project “Good Day Kentucky” has been so much fun. The students have been anchors and reporters for our first grade morning news show similar to Good Morning America. One of our students created a graphic art design that served as the background for the anchors. The same student is also very talented in music and composed a jingle for the show. The students toured the Mountain Home Place in Paintsville, Kentucky. When they returned to the classroom, they began work on the television show by comparing and contrasting life from long ago to life today. One of the impacts of the show is that the graphic art has been chosen as one of the top 6 graphic design entries in the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) for the entire state of Kentucky and was judged for the top place on March 26th.
