Holler Fellows have created simple curriculum to bring student-centered World Language lessons into any age/ content classroom. Their ¡Grita Fuerte! Holler just crossed 500 members, making it the second largest membership on the social learning platform and is one of the most active Hollers, connecting students across several districts. Last fall and this spring they brought their brilliance to thousands of viewers through student-led Livestreams in Spanish!
“The Holler provides us students with a way to share and discuss what we’re learning with other classrooms across the region,” said HCHS sophomore Deryn Shoemaker. “It even proves to be a safe way to make new friends online through intellectual conversations. I think the idea is genius.”
