Escape the Library

I am a library media specialist at North Magoffin Elementary. This year I wanted to focus on providing students with more engaging lessons that will create life-long learners with problem-solving skills. With this project, I am able to participate in EDU Escape the Classroom lessons and create several different “Escape Room” type games. Students are given several grueling clues in order to unlock locks and various containers in order to learn the required content in every unit. The supplies I received because of this grant allow my students to interact and learn the material in a fun atmosphere as they all work together. This competitive atmosphere fosters growth in every single student, and creates a perseverance in the classroom where students are not afraid to fail. With these various locks and supplies, all students are able to experience a truly imaginative classroom. So get ready to Escape the Library.
