Interacting with Art
As a K-8th grade art teacher I am always striving to come up with new and innovative ways to incorporate STEM into my curriculum. I know that not all students will become artists, but they will all need creativity, the ability to think critically, and good problem-solving skills. For this reason, I want to use robotics to introduce my eighth-grade students to art history. For many, learning art history can be boring but by introducing my students to a new and exciting process, I feel that they will be more intrigued to learn about things that may have not otherwise piqued their interest.
